[UPDATE Week of 10/19]

Students and Parents,

In Foundations of Math II this week, we started Unit 4, transformations.  Students have been hard at work determining what will make a function move up, down, left, right, stretch, shrink, and reflect over the x and y axis.  Students have also been learning about piecewise functions and how they are graphed and evaluated.  Next week, we will continue practicing piecewise functions, review for the test, and then take the Unit 4 Test on Thursday.  On Friday, we will begin Unit 5, Trigonometry!

In Pre-Calculus this week, we mainly focused on the Universal Language Project Presentations.  These grades are in the gradebook!  On Monday and Friday, students learned how to graph sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, cosecant, secant, functions!  We will learn inverse functions on Tuesday, review for the Unit 4 test on Wednesday, and take the test on Thursday.  On Friday, we will start Analytic Trigonometry!

Have a great week!
