Students and Parents,
We have had a very successful week at Heritage High!
In Foundations of Math II, we finished up Unit 1 by learning about angles, angle bisectors, vertical angles, and perpendicular bisectors. We reviewed for their first test yesterday and took the test today. I have grades several of them and they look fantastic! Next week, we will begin Unit 2, which is all about transformations on the coordinate plane. Your students will learn about how to manipulate a function so that it moves up, down, left, right, stretches, shrinks, or flips! Blog posts are due on Friday 9/19.
In Honors Pre-Calculus this week, we finished up Unit 1 with a review on Monday and a test on Tuesday. As long as all homeworks for Unit 1 are complete, students are able to re-take this test. All retakes must be done by the end of the day on Tuesday. On Wednesday of this week, we began Unit 2 which is more about functions, but looks more at polynomials and higher degree polynomials. We w ill take a quiz on sections 2.1 – 2.3 on Tuesday. Blog posts are due on Friday, 9/19.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
